Hyperline KR

PTFE-lined Hose

PTFE Lined Fuel Hose

Hyperline KR

PTFE-lined hose for automotive and general purpose applications

Hyperline KR is a high-performance, lightweight, and highly flexible PTFE-lined hose designed for demanding applications where space, movement, and chemical resistance are critical. Its construction features a smooth bore PTFE liner with an external convoluted design, reinforced with a 304 stainless steel wire braid and an integral EPDM rubber cover.

This unique combination offers excellent resistance to chemicals, temperature extremes, and mechanical stress, making it ideal for applications in pharmaceutical, food, chemical processing, and general industrial sectors. The EPDM rubber outer layer enhances durability, protects against abrasion, and provides an easy-clean surface, while the smooth bore ensures low friction and high flow rates. Hyperline KR is especially well-suited for dynamic flexing applications, offering a long service life even under continuous movement.

Features and Benefits

  • New improved kink resistance
  • Smooth bore yet highly flexible hose – a unique combination
  • Excellent chemical resistance – inert to all but a handful of uncommon chemicals
  • Self-cleaning – product does not adhere to the tube wall
  • Hygienic – manufactured from FDA-approved PTFE
  • Low flow-resistance – flow rates are more than twice those of conventional convoluted hose
  • Durable – tough outer braid protects against abrasion and damage
  • Heat-resistant – usable up to 230°C, dependent on application/specification
  • Vacuum resistant – usable with full vacuum (up to 1″ size, max 130°C)
  • Sizes – 1/2″ up to 2″ nb larger sizes upon request.

Temperatures vs Pressure

  • Due to its extremely strong construction, Hyperline KR has outstanding resistance to temperature and pressure, much higher than that of conventional convoluted PTFE lined hose.

Maximum Working Pressure (MWP) Variation With Temperature

Temperature and pressure limitations for the various sizes and specification variations of Hyperline KR are depicted on the graph.

LINERS

Natural

This liner can be used when there is no risk of electrostatic charge

Anti-Static

This liner is essential in applications where there is a risk of electrostatic charge

HPG

This liner is ideal for high pressure gas applications or testing procedures are above 100 bar

AS Liner

This liner consists of an anti-static internal layer of the PTFE with a natural outer layer, which provides the required static discharge properties.

BRAIDS

Stainless Steel

High pressure, high temperature applications

Aramid

Lightweight, high pressure applications

PPS

Ultra lightweight for low pressure applications
