The SB single braid silicone hose from APT Systems is a high-performance hose within the platinum pharma and food range, designed for pressure applications requiring both strength and flexibility in hygienic processing environments.
Reinforced with a stainless steel single braid, the SB hose offers enhanced pressure resistance while maintaining the clean, smooth bore essential for critical fluid transfer.
Manufactured from platinum-cured silicone, it ensures ultra-low extractables, exceptional purity, and full compliance with FDA, USP Class VI, and BfR standards. The stainless steel braid provides mechanical protection and vibration resistance, making it suitable for semi-flexible installations where reliability and sanitary conditions are paramount.
Compatible with CIP (Clean-In-Place) and SIP (Steam-In-Place) processes, the SB hose is ideal for pharmaceutical, biotech, and food applications, combining durability, cleanability, and regulatory compliance in one versatile solution.

Tested in conformity with the requirements included in the chapter 3-1-9: silicone elastomer for closures and tubing and is complying with the specifications required by the European Pharmacopoeia in force to date.

Elastomeric samples of 63141 were submitted under good laboratory practices to the biological reactivity tests designed for polymeric material described in the United States Pharmacopoeia (USP XXVI-NF21) Meets USP XXVI Class VI requirements (Certified and signed in Saint Fons as fully compliant with USP XXVI-NF21)
Conform to the described experimental lists requirements of the French, German, and American Regulations (Journal Official Brochure 1227, BfR section XV A FDA CFR21-Part 177.2600). For food contact materials.
