The AF fabric only silicone hose from APT Systems is a specialized component of the platinum pharma and food range, designed exclusively for pressure-only applications where flexibility, cleanliness, and durability are critical.
Reinforced with a high-strength polyester fabric layer and free of internal or external wire, the AF hose offers a smooth, non-metallic construction that minimizes the risk of contamination and simplifies cleaning.
Manufactured from platinum-cured silicone, it delivers exceptional purity, meeting global regulatory standards including FDA, USP Class VI, and BfR. Its lightweight, wire-free design provides enhanced manoeuvrability and ease of integration in sensitive pharmaceutical, biotech, and food processing environments.
Ideal for use in systems requiring frequent movement or flexing without vacuum loading, the AF hose is fully compatible with CIP (Clean-In-Place) and SIP (Steam-In-Place) systems, reflecting APT Systems’ dedication to safety, compliance, and operational efficiency.

Tested in conformity with the requirements included in the chapter 3-1-9: silicone elastomer for closures and tubing and is complying with the specifications required by the European Pharmacopoeia in force to date.

Elastomeric samples of 63141 were submitted under good laboratory practices to the biological reactivity tests designed for polymeric material described in the United States Pharmacopoeia (USP XXVI-NF21) Meets USP XXVI Class VI requirements (Certified and signed in Saint Fons as fully compliant with USP XXVI-NF21)
Conform to the described experimental lists requirements of the French, German, and American Regulations (Journal Official Brochure 1227, BfR section XV A FDA CFR21-Part 177.2600). For food contact materials.
